PP

The physical properties of polypropylene (PP) are different from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and it also retains good mechanical properties up to +100 °C, meaning that a PP piping system is stable. Resistance against high concentrations of acids at higher temperatures, in particular, is characteristic of PP. The maximum deployable temperature, must, however, be observed in relation to the medium concentration. PP has otherwise good resistance against bases and non-oxidising salt solutions.

Joining technologies

Polypropylene can be excellently welded by means of wire welding, extrusion welding, butt welding, socket welding, electrical socket welding, infrared welding and / or WNF welding.
